Highly-Oriented Pyrolytic Graphite (HOPG) X-Ray Spectrometer

The HOPG spectrometer relied upon the Bragg condition for X-Ray reflection being met at different angles for different X-Ray energies, resulting in a different spatial location for X-Rays of varying energies. It was designed with Dr. Robert Fedosejevs and Mianzhen Mo around the copper K-alpha X-Ray transition for experiments on the Titan Laser at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). It performed successfully in the last experimental campaign of my graduate studies.

Software used: Autodesk Inventor.

Work done in 2010-2011.
