Longer Wavelength Optical Platform
In this project for Boreal Laser, I designed a free-space optical platform for mounting and aligning a longer wavelength laser through a sample gas path and reference channel. The proof-of-concept prototype was successful and elements of the design were used in the future mid-infrared optical platform. Optical platforms are approximately half the design of a gas analyzer, with the other half being electronics and enclosure.
Software used: Solidworks. Renders done using Photoview 360 Solidworks add-in.
